French-Mexican Chef Jean Tardif is a seasoned restauranteur who has owned and worked as head chef at several successful restaurants in Mexico City. Born in Mexico of French heritage, Chef Tardif has a globally inspired culinary vision that is the foundation for his newest venture, Tardif’s American Brasserie in San Antonio, Texas.
A graduate of the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, Chef Tardif excels in French culinary techniques. He earned a Diplôme de Cuisine after completing one of the most rigorous and comprehensive culinary programs in the world; though he first cultivated his love for cooking in his family’s kitchen alongside his father and grandfather who also have a passion for French cuisine.
After training in France, Tardif returned to Mexico where he became a seasoned restauranteur who has owned and worked as head chef at several successful restaurants in Mexico City.
